AML / KYC / KYT policy

Updated: June 29, 2026

OneEx follows the principles of fair exchange and checks operations for compliance with AML / KYC / KYT requirements. The main provisions of the policy are below.

1. Principles

The service does not take part in operations connected with money laundering, financing of unlawful activity or evading sanctions legislation. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange without giving a reason if the operation raises reasonable doubts.

2. Client identification (KYC)

OneEx accepts payment only from first parties - that is, from accounts and cards that belong to the client personally. For large or non-standard operations the service may:

  • ask for confirmation of identity and of ownership of the payment details;
  • clarify the origin of funds and the purpose of the exchange;
  • refuse the operation if the client declines to provide such information.

This is a standard precaution that protects both sides of the deal.

3. Screening of crypto transactions (KYT)

For cryptocurrency operations, OneEx screens addresses and transactions for cleanliness using specialised AML analysers. The check looks for links to risky sources such as stolen funds, darknet marketplaces, fraud schemes and sanctioned addresses.

If an address or transaction receives a high risk score in such a check, the service may suspend or reject the operation and ask the client for additional information about the origin of funds.

4. Origin of funds

For large amounts we may clarify the origin of funds and the purpose of the exchange. Refusing to provide this information may be a reason to reject the operation.

5. Prohibited operations

  • Exchanging funds obtained by criminal means.
  • Operations aimed at evading sanctions.
  • Deals in the interests of third parties without identifying them, where this raises suspicion.
  • Operations with funds connected to the darknet, fraud or other unlawful sources.
  • Any operations contrary to applicable law.

6. Protection of client data

Data the client provides during a deal (details, contacts, verification information) is used solely to carry out the exchange and meet AML requirements, is not passed to third parties for marketing purposes and is kept no longer than necessary. More in the Privacy policy.

7. Cooperation

We rely on clients' good faith and ask you to tell the manager about the details of non-standard deals in advance. This speeds up verification and makes the exchange comfortable for everyone.
