Currency exchange in Thailand
Cards from Russian banks do not work in Thailand, so the usual ATM withdrawal is not an option. Frequently asked questions
Why do Russian Visa and Mastercard cards not work in Thailand?
Because of sanctions, cards issued by Russian banks (Visa, Mastercard and partly MIR) are not accepted at Thai ATMs and shops. An exchange service is the main way to get cash baht for rubles or crypto.
How do I get cash baht without a Thai card?
At an ATM using a code from the manager: no card is needed. You enter the code and the amount and the ATM dispenses cash. This is the most common method, more than half of all deals.
Which cities do you cover?
All of Thailand. ATM payout is available everywhere; cash courier delivery is available in Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya. In other cities you receive money through an ATM or to a Thai bank account.
