Baht Index, October 2026: how many baht you get for 100,000 RUB and 1,000 USDT
On 16 October 2026, 100,000 RUB turned into about 37,110 THB in a Thai bank account via the chain "rubles - USDT on P2P - baht on Bitkub" or about 36,780 THB in cash from a foreign bank card at a Thai ATM. At the Bank of Russia rate it would be 40,040 THB, and cash rubles at the SuperRich booth give 35,000 THB. A holder of 1,000 USDT gets about 33,400 THB via Bitkub (a Thai account is required) or about 33,060 THB via a foreign card; the mid-market figure is 33,500 THB.
Cash baht for 100,000 RUB
| Method | Baht | Versus benchmark | What it takes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Benchmark: Bank of Russia rate | ≈ 40,040 | benchmark | Not available anywhere: baht are not sold at the central bank rate. It is only the reference point. |
| Rubles -> USDT (P2P) -> THB on Bitkub -> Thai bank account | ≈ 37,110 | -7.3% | A Thai bank account and a verified Bitkub account. The result lands in the account, not as cash; you withdraw cash separately. |
| Rubles -> USDT (P2P) -> foreign bank card -> ATM in Thailand | ≈ 36,780 | -8.1% | A card from a non-Russian bank and a way to put USDT on it. Visa/Mastercard rates cannot be fetched publicly without bypassing bot protection, so the ECB mid-market reference is used; the real network rate usually differs by a fraction of a percent. |
| Cash rubles -> SuperRich exchange booth in Thailand | ≈ 35,000 | -12.6% | You must physically carry 100,000 rubles in cash and visit the booth; check the cash export rules yourself. |
Figures are rounded to 10 baht; the exact numbers and formulas are below and in the JSON. With the cheapest P2P ads (median of the 5 cheapest) the card route gives ≈ 38,070 THB, the Bitkub route: ≈ 38,390 THB. P2P price used: 90.00 RUB per USDT (median of 41 ads), cheapest-five median 87.00.
Baht for 1,000 USDT
| Method | Baht | Versus benchmark | What it takes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Benchmark: mid-market USD/THB (ECB) | ≈ 33,500 | benchmark | Not available at this rate: it is the middle of the market with no spread or fees. |
| USDT -> THB on Bitkub -> Thai bank account | ≈ 33,400 | -0.3% | A Thai bank account and a verified Bitkub account. The result lands in the account, not as cash. |
| USDT -> foreign bank card -> ATM in Thailand | ≈ 33,060 | -1.3% | A card from a non-Russian bank and a way to put USDT on it (the intermediary fee is not included, so this is an upper bound). The Visa/Mastercard rate is not publicly available, the ECB reference is used. |
Two ATM withdrawals are needed for 1,000 USDT at a limit of 30,000 THB each. If the bank charges 250 THB instead of 220, the card route loses another 60 THB.
Cash dollars bought in Russia: when is this route worth it
We could not get a public, verifiable cash USD sell rate of a large Russian bank (no open API, bank pages are closed), so we count backwards. SuperRich pays 33.40 THB per dollar for $100 notes. For this route to beat the P2P-and-Bitkub chain, a cash dollar must cost you no more than 90.0 RUB (90.8 RUB against the card chain). The Bank of Russia dollar rate on 16.10.2026 is 83.8 RUB, so the limit is 7.5% above it. Check what your bank or exchanger charges, and whether it sells cash dollars at all.

Methodology
- One date, two amounts. All sources are read in one run on 16 October 2026 (Manila time); the amounts are 100,000 RUB and 1,000 USDT. The run time of every source is below.
- P2P (rubles to USDT). HTX P2P ads of USDT sellers for rubles: online, the limits cover 100,000 RUB, completion rate of at least 90%. 41 of 164 ads qualified; the central price is the median, the "cheapest" one is the median of the five cheapest. The platform fee for P2P is not added.
- Bitkub. The whole amount of USDT is sold into the bid side of the order book at the volume-weighted price, then the trading fee 0.25% and the withdrawal fee 20 THB are subtracted. It is available only with a Thai bank account and Bitkub verification.
- Foreign card. USDT is converted to dollars through the Binance USDC/USDT order book, dollars to baht at the ECB reference rate, then the fixed ATM fee is subtracted for each withdrawal.
- SuperRich. The Buy column of the head office (H01): how many baht the booth pays for one unit of currency.
- Benchmarks. The Bank of Russia official rate for rubles and the ECB mid-market rate for dollars. Nobody sells baht at these rates; they show how far the real routes are from them.
- No guesses. A source that is unavailable or fails a plausibility check (for example, differs from the cross rate by more than 5%) gives "no data" for the method.

Questions about the index
How many baht do you get for 100,000 rubles in Thailand?
On 16 October 2026, 100,000 RUB turned into about 37,110 THB in a Thai bank account via the chain "rubles - USDT on P2P - baht on Bitkub" or about 36,780 THB in cash from a foreign bank card at a Thai ATM. The exact figures, formulas and sources are in the tables above; the measurement is repeated every month.
How many baht do you get for 1,000 USDT?
As of 16 October 2026: about 33,400 THB via Bitkub to a Thai bank account (needs a Thai account and verification) or about 33,060 THB in cash via a foreign card and two ATM withdrawals; the mid-market value is 33,500 THB.
Why is the result lower than the Bank of Russia rate?
The central bank rate is a reference for accounting and taxes: nobody sells baht at it. On the way, you pay the P2P price premium over the official dollar rate, exchange spreads and fees, and fixed ATM fees. That is why the index compares the final number of baht, not rates.
Do Russian bank cards work in Thailand?
No: Visa and Mastercard cards issued by Russian banks do not work in Thailand. The card routes in the index mean a card from a bank outside Russia.
Why is OneEx not in the table?
We measure only public methods and public tariffs that anyone can check. The OneEx rate is fixed in the Telegram bot before payment and is not shown as a number on the site.
How often is the index updated?
Once a month. Each issue is stored with its measurement time, sources and assumptions; if a source is unavailable, the method is marked "no data" instead of being estimated.
The Baht Index is an informational measurement, not an offer or a quote. Rates change during the day, and fees and limits depend on your bank. OneEx is a P2P exchange service between individuals.
