Privacy policy

Updated: June 29, 2026

This policy describes what data OneEx receives when exchanging currency and cryptocurrency, why it is needed, how it is stored and protected, and what rights the client has.

1. What data we receive

During an exchange, the client gives the service the minimum necessary set of data:

  • Contact details - a name or Telegram username, a phone number or WhatsApp, through which the deal is handled.
  • Payment details - the details the payment comes from and the recipient's details: a card or account number, a crypto wallet address.
  • Deal data - the exchange direction, amount, date, payout method, and the conversation with the manager about the specific request.
  • Verification information - for large amounts, information about the origin of funds and the purpose of the exchange may be requested under the AML policy.

We do not collect data unrelated to carrying out the exchange and do not ask for documents beyond what is necessary.

2. Why we use the data

The data received is used solely to:

  • carry out the exchange and payout for the client's request;
  • stay in touch during the deal and resolve disputed situations;
  • meet obligations to check operations (AML / KYC / KYT);
  • keep internal records of completed deals.

We do not use client data for advertising and do not pass it to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Sharing data

Client data may be passed to third parties only to the extent necessary to carry out the deal or required by law:

  • Payout partners - the recipient's details are passed to the partner who makes the payout in the region, strictly to the extent needed for that specific payout.
  • On lawful demand - data may be disclosed to authorised bodies if applicable law requires it.

In all other cases the data is neither shared nor sold.

4. Storage and protection

Data is stored on protected servers with restricted access, available only to authorised OneEx staff. Access is protected by key-based authentication, and data is transmitted over secure channels (TLS).

Data is kept for as long as necessary to carry out the deal and to meet record-keeping and anti-fraud requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

5. Cookies and web analytics

The oneex.asia website uses cookies and web analytics services to understand how visitors use the site and to improve how it works:

  • Yandex Metrica (including Webvisor - a recording of anonymised actions on a page, used to analyse usability).
  • Google Analytics.

These services collect anonymised technical data: the type of device and browser, the source of the visit, pages viewed and actions on the site. This data does not identify a specific person and is used in aggregated form. You can switch off collection by restricting cookies in your browser settings.

6. Client's rights

The client has the right to:

  • ask what data the service holds about them;
  • ask for their data to be corrected or deleted - subject to the periods for which storage is mandatory to meet transaction record-keeping requirements.

Send the request through the Telegram bot.

7. Contacts

For questions about data processing, write to the Telegram bot. The Terms of use and the AML policy also apply.
